Outreach
Our outreach programme at Bergvliet Primary School aims to assist or extend a service to help those in need and offer a different way of learning to our learners. We assist with various needs in our community by means of fundraisers, collection drives or raising awareness on certain topics.
Outreach is in many ways a one-way communication that teaches our learners about giving without the expectation of receiving.
We believe that this is vitally important in today’s world, in order to foster a nature which is generous, kind and considerate.
Some of our long standing charity drives:
Going on 3 decades, BPS has been supporting:
Zeekoevlei Primary School
with a weekly sandwich and fruit collection as well as an annual collection of books, school shoes and clothing.
Lions Club of Bergvliet
with an annual easter egg collection. They then distribute the eggs to various charities.
