Our instrumental music (piano, violin, cello, guitar, recorder and Orff instruments) is of a very high standard. Individual and group instrumental tuition is offered during school hours, with learners receiving two 30-minute lessons per week. Music learners are responsible for catching up on any work missed while they were at their music lessons, finding out what homework was set etc.

Two evening music concerts take place during the Second and Third Term. All music learners have the opportunity to play in front of an audience. During the Fourth Term there is the Cultural Awards evening, where we feature several of our larger ensembles.

Applications for music lessons are welcome at any time. All applications will be considered but those who cannot be accommodated will be placed on the waiting list. Application forms are available from the Secretary. Please direct any enquiries to Mrs S Marais.
